You don’t need to know what’s next.

Sometimes waiting makes us feel like we should be doing something. We start looking for the next step, the next answer, or some kind of open door just so it feels like progress is being made.

The hard part is that God may not be asking us to move yet.

Waiting can feel a lot like being stuck, especially when we do not know what comes next. Still, standing still can be obedience too. There are moments when the best thing we can do is stop trying to force an answer and trust that God sees more than we do.

He has already gone ahead of us. What feels uncertain from where we are may not be uncertain to Him at all.

That means tomorrow does not have to be figured out tonight. Every answer does not have to be in place, and progress does not always have to look like movement.

Faith can look like taking a step, but it can also look like staying where you are until God gives you one.

So if you are in a season where the next part is unclear, maybe you do not need to push harder. Maybe this is simply a time to trust God with what you cannot see yet.

You don’t need to know what’s next.

You can trust God with the rest.

Scripture for Reflection

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”
Psalm 37:7
