Keep Going Anyway

“Keep Going Anyway” was created for the days when moving forward feels like an accomplishment all by itself.

There are seasons when life changes in ways we never expected, answers become hard to find, and everything begins to feel heavier than it used to. The heart grows tired, the mind becomes overwhelmed, and even prayer can become difficult to put into words.

This song was created around one simple message:

You may not understand what is happening, and you may not feel strong, but you can keep going anyway.

The Heart Behind the Song

The lyrics move through the quiet moments that most people never see: staring at the ceiling, trying to make it through another morning, wrestling with difficult choices, and wanting to heal without hurting the people around you.

They also speak to that strange place where you still know what you believe about God, but you are trying to figure out how to live out that faith in circumstances you never expected to face.

At the center of the song is this truth:

“I may not feel strong.
I may not understand.

But I know Your love is holding me
when I can barely stand.”

Faith does not always look like confidence, and it does not always feel courageous.

Sometimes faith is simply choosing another breath, taking another step, and making it through another day while trusting God with what has become too heavy for us to carry alone.

You may still have questions, and the situation may not change as quickly as you hoped. Even so, you can keep moving forward while trusting that God is still present in the middle of it.

That is the heart behind “Keep Going Anyway.”

Scripture Reflection

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

When our own strength feels thin, we do not have to pretend that we are stronger than we are. God does not ask us to carry everything alone, and sometimes the grace for today is simply enough strength to take the next step.
